Job Description: Technical Architect
Experience: 9+ Years
Role Type: Individual Contributor + Team Leadership
Shift Timings: 24×7 environment (General shift working hours)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, containerized platforms, and enterprise-grade system design. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and team management to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions in a 24×7 production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and review end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business and non-functional requirements.
- Lead and mentor a technical team, providing architectural guidance, best practices, and technical direction.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to translate business goals into technical architecture.
- Define and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and governance across platforms.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of applications deployed on cloud and container platforms.
- Drive CI/CD strategy, automation, and DevOps best practices.
- Support and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and production incidents when required.
- Design and operate solutions in air-gapped / restricted network environments.
- Review and guide infrastructure as code (IaC) implementations.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards across the SDLC.
- Work closely with monitoring and SRE teams to ensure observability and proactive incident management.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Experience & Leadership
- 9+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3–4 years of experience as a Technical Architect.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Cloud & Platform
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Cosmos DB
- Azure Functions
- Azure PostgreSQL
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Storage Services
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
Operating Systems & Monitoring
- Strong Linux troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as:
- Dynatrace
- Prometheus (or similar observability tools)
DevOps & Automation
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- CI/CD tools and practices:
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub Actions
- GitLab CI
- ArgoCD
Security & Code Quality
- Experience with artifact management and code quality tools:
- JFrog
- SonarQube
- Understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices.
Specialized Experience
- Prior experience working in air-gapped environments or highly secured networks.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with MLOps technologies and workflows (a strong plus).
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and handle complexity in a fast-paced environment.
