Job Title: Senior Research Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Research and Insights team as a Senior Research Associate. In this role, you will be integral to conducting secondary research to support our research initiatives. You will collaborate closely with project managers and external clients to ensure the accuracy and quality of our deliverables, contributing to strategic decision-making and enhancing our understanding of market dynamics.

Responsibilities:

Research & Insights:

·       Analyze and synthesize information from articles, reports, and various sources to evaluate the competitive landscape and consumer preferences.

·       Conduct thorough competitive analysis and consumer insights research, including the design and execution of surveys and focus groups.

·       Synthesize insights from previous studies and reports to develop actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

·       Present findings clearly and effectively, ensuring they are actionable and aligned with project objectives.

·       Investigate key topics and areas of interest within the client’s prior research, providing deeper insights into their needs.

·       Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on findings and agree on next steps for research initiatives.

·       Conduct thorough quality checks on deliverables produced by research associates to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards.

·       Provide guidance and mentorship to research associates throughout the research process, fostering skill development and best practices.

·       Demonstrate strong project management skills by scoping projects effectively, defining objectives, and planning timelines to meet project deadlines.

·       Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth workflow and communication, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.

·       Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to managers/stakeholders, identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions proactively.

Social Media and Marketing Analytics:

·       Demonstrate familiarity with key concepts such as Paid Media Spend, Positioning & Messaging, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

·       Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of various media channels and best practices in creative strategy, including targeting and segmentation.

·       Evaluate and analyze paid media spend across multiple channels, including TV, Out-of-Home (OOH), social media, and Display Advertising.

·       Perform thorough evaluations of current positioning and messaging strategies, including website assessments and marketing materials.

·       Interpret data from SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Moz) to inform and optimize marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Market Research, Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, or related disciplines).

·       3-5 years of experience in secondary research.

·       Familiarity with social media analytics platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Google Analytics, Meltwater, Captiv8) is advantageous.

·       Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to all tasks.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

·       Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

·       Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.

·       Prior experience in customer research or market research is preferred.
