About this role

Material’s Insights Technologies team is currently seeking a UI/UX designer to join us and help create innovative product experiences improving our customer and internal applications. The ideal candidate must understand the user’s needs, design intuitive interfaces, and enhance the overall usability of our products. The UI/UX designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including other designers, developers, and product managers.

 

What you’ll do

·       Work with other designers and product managers to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate the intended user experience and functionality.

·       Develop responsive interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall aesthetics of our applications.

·       Prepare designs and prototypes for internal teams and presentations.

·       Interpret data, solve issues and restraints based on users, product managers, and stakeholder’s feedback.

·       Support and improve existing applications.

·       Stay updated on the latest design tools and best practices in UI/UX design.

·       High Degree of Design Rigor

 

Qualifications

·       5+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of relevant work.

·       5+ years of proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator).

·       3+ years of experience working on enterprise and data applications.

·       Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies.

·       Knowledge of responsive design principles for various platforms such as web, mobile and desktop.

·       Experience with user research and usability testing.- Nice to have

·       Familiarity with front and back-end development concepts and limitations to effectively communicate with developers.- Must have

·       Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

·       Must be self-directed, deadline oriented and have experience working in a remote agile development environment.

·       Experience in Backend Internal Applications, Data Visualization & Data Gathering
